| BIOGRAPHY |
Born in Penang, Malaysia, in 1943
he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons), with a major in Geography
in 1966 and a Diploma in Education in 1968 from University Malaysia,
Kuala Lumpur. He has traveled extensively to to the major art museums
in Europe, the U.S. and Australia to study and enjoy their master
works. Intensely drawn to the works of Rothko and Richard Diebenkorn
featured in masterpeices from the National Art Gallery of Malaysia
published by the National Art Gallery, Malaysia, in 2002. Currently
paints full time and is the Chariman of the Penang State Art Gallery. |
