1975-1982 : Study painting under guidance of Lan Shanglian, Shao Dazhen, Wu Guanzhong and Li Keran.
1984 : Bachelor Degree in Linguistics Arts, major in English and American Literature, International Politics Institute, Beijing.
1984-1986 : Assistant Lecturer in Central Academy of Arts and Crafts, Beijing.
1986-1991 : Full-time artist in China.
1991-1999 : Full-time artist in Singapore.
1994-2000 : Made study trips to France, England, Holland, India, Japan, China and Australia etc.
2001 : Bachelor of Fine Art, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia, at LaSalle-SIA College of Arts, Singapore.
2002 : Master of Fine Art, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia, at LaSalle-SIA College of Arts, Singapore.
